ExtractImage.Online("we", "us") operates the website at extractimage.online (the "Service"). We built the Service to be privacy-friendly: you don't need an account, and we don't store the URLs you submit or the images we extract. This policy explains what we process and why.
Information we process
- URLs and files you submit. When you extract from a URL, our server fetches that page to find images. When you upload a file, our server reads it to extract embedded images. This happens on demand and in memory — we do not persist your URLs, uploaded files, or extracted images after your request completes.
- Image data. Image bytes are streamed through our server to your browser so previews and ZIP downloads work; they are not retained.
- Technical/log data. Like most websites, our servers and hosting provider may automatically log technical information (IP address, browser type, timestamps, requested endpoints) for security, abuse prevention, and rate limiting, kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
- Local storage.We store your theme preference (light/dark) in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is not a tracking cookie.
What we don't do
- We don't require accounts or collect your name or email unless you contact us.
- We don't sell or rent your personal data.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display ads, which helps keep the Service free. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before any non-essential advertising cookies are set, via a consent banner, and you can change or withdraw consent at any time. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Service — for example, which pages are most popular — so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data such as your approximate location, device type, and the pages you view. Third parties
We rely on infrastructure providers (such as our hosting and content-delivery network) that process technical data on our behalf to run the Service. When you extract from a URL, your request causes our server to contact that third-party website; their handling of the request is governed by their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data. Because we don't maintain accounts and don't retain submitted content, the personal data we hold is limited to transient technical logs. To make a request, email us at support@extractimage.online.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
